From Montrose
Go South
on HWY 550. Make a Left On Ouray County Road 2 into Billy
Creek Wildlife Area. This turn is approx. 12.4 mi. from the
last stop light in Montrose or 2.8 mi. from Colona. Ouray
County Road 2 is a gravel road. Follow this road as it meanders
through some hay fields for 2 mi. Then there is a fork in the
road. Your options are to keep going straight or make a right turn.
Turn Right. Do not go straight. Turn Right. On the side of
the road there is an arrow pointing you in the right direction.
There are many service roads that connect to the road. Don't take
any of them. Stay on the main gravel road for
4.7 mi.
as it switches back and forth up
hill. Once you rerach the top of the hill the road has another fork.
It forks to the left or the right. This is where we will meet you to
bring you to our ranch for your horseback adventure.

Go North
on HWY 550. Make a Right On Ouray County Road 2 into Billy

stop light in Ridgway. If your reach Colona you have gone too far.
Double back 2.8 mi. Ouray County Road 2 is a gravel road.
Follow this road as it meanders through some hay fields for 2 mi.
Then there is a fork in the road. Your options are to keep going
straight or make a right turn. Turn Right. Do not go straight.
Turn Right. On the side of the road there is an arrow pointing
